A detailed Islamic State “secret agent” training manual has been distributed on the Internet and is designed to provide prospective ISIS supporters in Western nations with ways to disguise themselves and their motives when trying to plan and carrying out “lone wolf” attacks and espionage missions.

The 71-page e-book, which was originally published in March and has recently resurfaced on the Internet, includes wide-ranging suggestions for the group’s radicalised sympathisers in the West who are looking to make significant contributions to the terror group’s jihad, Radio Free Europe reported.

The ebook, which contains 11 chapters, advises extremists in the west not to show any signs that they’re devout Muslims so that they do not raise suspicion from national and local law enforcement agencies.

The book’s first chapter, titled “Hiding the Extremist Identity,” tells extremists in the West not to grow their beard out, if they haven’t already, which is contradictory…

Secret British Papers on Afghanistan Reveal Parallels With Syria Tactics

Nikolai Gorshkov ~ Sputnik Newssubmitted by Flyingcuttlefish

Hypocrisy, subversion and dirty propaganda tricks are the hallmarks of Western handling of conflicts in the wider Middle East, British Foreign Office (FCO) papers reveal. A batch of FCO files on the Afghan insurgency of the 1980s has just been released by the National Archives in London.

When in December 1979, the Soviet Union had to intervene in Afghanistan to stop the country turning into a haven for fundamentalist terror groups, the collective West accused Moscow of aggression and a land grab. Sanctions were imposed, the 1980 Moscow Olympics were boycotted by the US and some of its client states, and what the West called “moderate” opposition to the government of Babrak Karmal, were given money and weapons to “bleed the Soviets to the last Afghan,” as Selig Harrison, a Washington Post correspondent and a long-time Afghanistan watcher with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace think tank put it. His objective media reports from Afghanistan were dismissed by Washington…

the real Syrian Free Press

al-jaafar-unsc-750-2016

New York, 25/8/2016 ~ Syria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Bashar al-Jaafari stressed that the flagrant Turkish violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian state and the aggression on the Syrian city of Jarablus in Aleppo countryside came under the air cover of the US-led coalition’s air force which has frequently violated the Syrian sovereignty during the past two years.

In an interview with the Russian Sputnik news agency on Wednesday, al-Jaafari stressed thatit is impossible to defeat ISIS in Syria without first defeating it in Turkey,”asking“How can Turkey say that it is fighting ISIS in Jarablus if Turkey itself allowed the establishment of ISIS and helped in the development of it by providing thousands of Toyota cars and other branded cars with built-in weapons? It further provided funds from the Gulf States to purchase weapons from Ukraine, Croatia, Bulgaria and other countries.”

The Aleppo Poster Child

By Paul Craig Roberts(submitted by 'The Old Sniper' & 'Lone Bear')

Washington’s media presstitutes are using the image of the child to bring pressure on Russia to stop the Syrian army from retaking Alleppo.

Washington wants its so-called moderate rebels to retain Alleppo so that Washington can split Syria in two, thereby keeping a permanent pressure against President Assad.

As for the little boy in the propaganda picture, he does not seem to be badly injured. Let us not forget the tens of thousands of children that Washington’s wars and bombings of 7 Muslim countries have killed without any tears shed by CNN anchors, and let us not forget the 500,000 Iraqi children that the United Nations concluded died as a result of US sanctions against Iraq, children’s deaths that Clinton’s Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said were worth it.

US-BACKED ‘MODERATE REBELS’ BEHEADED BOY ‘BY MISTAKE.’ MEANWHILE HIGH RANKING REBEL COMMANDERS RESPONSIBLE

All we know that Western media outlets are the most unbiased and independent around the world. And CNN is one of the best among them. Let’s look at CNN’s coverage of the situation with Palestinian boy beheaded by US-backed ‘moderate rebels’ from the Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki (GRAPHIC FOOTAGE).

Nour al-Din al-Zenki is a militant group that recieves support from the US and is affiliated to the Supreme Military Command (SMC) of the Free Syrian Army (FSA). In other words, these guys are the same “moderate rebels” that US State Department supports in Syria in every statement.

NBC Journalist: Mr. President, thank you for having us and allowing NBC News to ask you some important questions.

President Assad: You’re most welcome in Damascus.

Question 1: A few weeks ago, you told lawmakers here that you would retake every inch of Syria. The U.S. State Department called that “delusional.” You’re a long way from winning this war, aren’t you? Never mind retaking every inch of Syria.

President Assad: Actually, the Syrian Army has made a lot of advancement recently, and that is the goal of any army or any government. I don’t think the statement for the United States is relevant. It doesn’t reflect any respect to the international law, to the Charter of the United Nations. It doesn’t…

Why Do People in the West Still Believe the Official Lies About Syria?

Well-documented facts pertaining to the 9/11 wars, all supported by sustainable evidence, have barely made inroads into the collective consciousness of Western media consumers.

The War on Syria is no exception.  Despite the presence of five years of sustainable evidence that contradicts the Western narratives, people still believe the “official” lies.

The consensus of ignorance is sustained by what Michel Chossudovsky describes as an “American Inquisition”. Beneath the protection of this psychological operation, the engineered enemy is Islam, and the Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) has become a brand to disguise imperial wars of aggression as “humanitarian”.

Thus, huge sums of public monies are diverted from worthwhile, domestic projects, such as healthcare, schools, and roads, to support a criminal Project for a New American Century (PNAC) that is globalizing death, poverty, and destruction as the U.S led empire tries to impose a  unilateral model…

Chemical Alert: Erdogan’s regime accused of complicity in the delivery of sarin gas to terrorist gangs after fresh chemical attacks

Syrian Kurds accuse Turkey of aiding sarin gas delivery to rebels after fresh chemical attacks. In an interview with RT, a spokesman for the Kurdish YPG militia accused Turkey of providing a clear transit route for the chemical weapons that were deployed against them near the city of Aleppo on Tuesday.

Syrian anti-government ‘militants’ took advantage of the ceasefire to launch attacks against a Kurdish-controlled area near Aleppo in northern Syria, Redur Xelil told RT.

The attackers targeted a civilian district of what was once Syria’s biggest city, and has since become a key battleground.

According to Xelil, the shells emitted an “unnatural smell”and “yellow smoke” upon impact, indicating that chemical weapons were involved.

Sticking point in Syria truce:
Washington’s support for Al Qaeda

By Bill Van Auken, WSWS

Testifying Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary of State John Kerry faced intensely hostile questioning as he defended a Syrian “cessation of hostilities” reached with Moscow that is supposed to go into effect this weekend.

Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer of California suggested that the agreement might be little more than a “rope-a-dope” deal, while the committee’s Republican chairman, Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee, warned that Russia would “continue to kill the folks that are our friends and allies.”

Kerry responded by stressing that there was a “significant discussion taking place now about a Plan B,” presumably entailing a major escalation of the US military intervention in Syria and a potential armed confrontation with Russia, should the truce deal fail to further Washington’s aims.

The key sticking point in the US-Russian deal is precisely the…

This shift in foreign policy phraseology coincided with the inauguration of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Oil Terminal in the Eastern Mediterranean. The term and conceptualization of the “New Middle East,” was subsequently heralded by the…

(By Mike Whitney, ICH) ~ Last week’s game-changing triumph in northern Syria has moved the Russian-led coalition to within striking distance of a decisive victory in Aleppo.  After breaking a 40 month-long siege on the cities of  Nubl and Zahra, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has encircled the country’s industrial hub and is gradually tightening the noose. Crucial supply-lines to the north have been cut leaving the Sunni extremists and anti-government militias stranded inside a vast, urban cauldron. It’s only a matter of time before these disparate renegades are either killed or forced to surrender. A victory in Aleppo will change the course of the war by restoring government control over the densely-populated western corridor. Revengers managed to get inside, as they put on the same clothes the Daesh (ISIS) fighters wear.

The incident happened in the city of Al-Bukamal in eastern Syria not far from the border with Iraq.

Having shot down the fighters, the men left the headquarters, but before that they had hanged Syrian flags on the wall and two portraits of the President Bashar al-Assad.

Sabotage is assumed to have been carried out by members of the Zulfiqar Arab bedouin tribes battalion.

Simultaneously a group of fighters from the same unit blasted a car of the Daesh leader in Al-Bukamal.

The terrorist himself and four of his adherents were killed.

The Zulfikar fighters belong to the Shaytat tribe.

After the IS slaughtered their families in 2014, they went over the Syrian army.

The Syrian opposition circus comes to town

Mideast Shuffle

This article was originally published on RT’s Op-Edge on December 22, 2015

In January, the Syrian government will – ostensibly – sit across the negotiating table from ‘the Syrian opposition’ to decide on the structure and make-up of a transitional government that promises to end the 5-year Syrian conflict.

The ‘Syrian opposition,’ we are told by US Secretary of State John Kerry, will be selected by ‘Syrians’ and will therefore be ‘representative.’

“This is not about imposing anything on anyone,” Kerry remarked about the Vienna process, convened to broker a Syrian peace – which was negotiated by 20 countries, but without the involvement of Syrians.

“I want to be clear: the Syrian people will be the validators of this whole effort,” said Kerry again – lest we forget. This is just before he instructed us that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad cannot hold any long-term position in Syria: “Asking the opposition…
